United Kingdom - A place must visit.
This is my travel story 3 years ago when I was a student of Business Administration. The Institute I was studying organized this trip to UK. This was a educational cum enjoyment trip. We were supposed to visit London and a parts of Wales.
We reached London on 26th Jan 2009. London.........................A place that can not be described by words. Awesome place with awesome people. I really loved the way the British people treated us. We had an affiliate institute in London who made all our arrangements to stay. The very first of our trip we visited the British Museum, Tate Modern, National Gallery and many more places. But the place I loved the most was EDF Energy London Eye. I am highlighting the places a bit but only few of them.
British Museum: The world-famous British Museum exhibits the works of man from prehistoric to modern times from around the world. Highlights include the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon sculptures, and the mummies in the Ancient Egypt collection.
Tate Modern: Sitting grandly on the banks of the Thames is Tate Modern, Britain's national museum of modern and contemporary art. Its unique shape is due to its previously being a power station. Inside you'll find temporary exhibitions by top artists from Damien Hirst to Gauguin. The gallery's restaurants offer fabulous views across the city.
EDF Energy London Eye: Awesome place....Words are not enough to describe this place. The EDF Energy London Eye is a major feature of London's skyline. It is the world's highest observation wheel, with 32 capsules, each weighing 10 tonnes, and holding up to 25 people. Climb aboard for a breathtaking experience, with unforgettable views of more than 55 of London's most famous landmarks – all in just 30 minutes!
Next day we were supposed to a bit of educational work or academic....Ha boring very boring. But the place we went to visit was awesome again. The places must visit in Whitstable were a lot. But we weren't able to see all because it was a educational trip. As a student of Business Administration we were supposed to visit a mattress manufacturing company named Coolflex. Coolflex was located at(I hope it is still there) 36 John Wilson Business Park, Harvey Drive. The company management was awesome. The style of their working was outstanding. But the best part was their marketing strategies. They were leading their field under the brand name "Coolflex - UK Mattresses".
As this was very short trip - only 5 long we were not able to visit much of wales and East London.
