What do you drive & how long have you owned it?

1991 80 Series DX, 8 years

Any modifications?

4" King springs, 2" body lift, 35" Goodyear wranglers, ARB Bullbar (modified to take winch), 900lb warn winch, Custom made rear bar/wheel carrier, side rails and steps, hid lighting, home made roller draws, safari snorkel, Denco turbo, 3" mandrel bent exhaust, lots of comms gear.

Where do you like going bush?

Cape York, Stockton beach (my backyard), Barrington tops, The Wattagans.

Any members off The Shed or 4WD Action Forum you usually go wheeling with?

Mudrat GQ and a few others soon.

Tell us about that first ‘oh bugger’ moment you have had off road:

Sliding backwards down a hill when the transfer slipped out of gear and i hadn't noticed, in my old Hilux.

What's next for the truck?

Lockers

Any mods made & since regretted & why?

Incab adjuster for my shocks, kept holing the airlines and having no dampening at all.

Have you done any extended trips in your fourbie, if so do you have any advice or experiences to share?

Did a nine week trip to the cape, gulf, Kakadu, Darwin, Alice Springs, Chambers Pillar, The Simmo, Big Red, Birdsville then home.

What’s your favourite rig off The Shed, other than your own?

Too many to name, but anyone with an 80 has to be up there.

Where are you planning to get to this year?

Lockers and a camper trailer.
