Maybe the cleanest (if you can excuse the mud from time to time) 91' HiLux getting around.

Talking Dirty with BRICKI...

Name: Brendan (wifes name Vicki) = Bricki

Location (town and state):

Unfortunately back in Syndey after 2 yrs in Griffith (Western NSW)

What do you do for a crust?

Heaps of Stuff - But mainly Geotech Drilling - Eventually I'd like to work in the 4wd industry

When did you join the A4WDM forums and why?

July 06'....I'd been a subscriber of the mag for the previous 5 years and finnally decided to check it out

What do you drive and how long have you owned it:

I've got a 91' Hilux which I've owned for almost 2yrs....and the Mrs drives the comfy Terrano II which we've had for 6 months

What modifications have you done to it in that time:

The Lux: Stripped down and re-sprayed, tray sandblasted and dual tone powder coated, tinted windows, sound proofed cab, custom upholsted cab backing and gear boots, gear shifter extensions, 2" body lift, lifted bullbar, 1" lifted tray, lockable tray-side tool boxes, checker plate tool box modded to bolt onto tray, 32" STTs on 15x8 ROH Black Rats, diff breathers

The Terrano II: 31" MTZs with wound up torsion bars and a bit of guard cutting

Where do you like going bush:

The Capertee Valley is my favourite destination

Any members off this forum you usually go wheeling with?

Nope - but I'm looking forward to having a meet-up sometime

Lockers, lift, rubber or barwork -- what's the first thing you should put on a stocker, and why?

Big rubber first, cos then it gives u an excuse to go and get a lift

Tell us about that first 'ooops' moment you had offroad:

hmmmmm......probly about 6 years ago when I had my first fourby (a Rocky) with new BFG muddies, I had a mate in the car who had never been fourbying. I saw a large boulder off to the side of the track and thought I'd scare him into thinking I could drive up it - I didn't think I could get up it so I just put from front tires on it and tried - nearly flipped it backwards and scared myself instead - all I could see was trees and sky so I backed off the throttle and stopped - not a good idea, to my amazement I would have made it to the top and now I'm sliding back down the boulder and falling sideways...luckily the left door and sill caught the boulder and stopped us from rolling and we crunched our way back to safety

What's next on the list for your truck?

The list for the Lux: LPG, turbo, snorkel, 2" suspension probly rancho and rockcrawler, LR tank, boost compensator, lightforce spotties, scrub bars and steps

The Terrano will stay as is

Any modifications you've made and since regretted, and why?

Nope

What's the best single piece of advice you could give anyone new to 4WDing reading this?

Make all your mistakes on a cheap vehicle first

Any other hobbies that your involved in? Music and sport, but mainly just 4WDING!!!
