Birdsville Track Flooding

Birdsville Track Flooding

4WDers traveling the Birdsville track in South Australia have a shock awaiting them as the Cooper Creek is flowing across about 5km of the track 800kn north of Adelaide.

The area appears vastly different to when the 4WD Action team traveled through the area in 2008.

Those needing to cross the Creek are being directed to the punt in Etadunna Station, which is running for the first time in since 1990. However be prepare to wait as the punt can only handle one car at a time.

It is unclear when the water will subside.
