I’ve been with the mag for almost a year now, and have decided recently to take the plunge and buy one of the most well known and trusted 4WDs on the market, a Toyota HiLux.

I opted for a single cab chassis ute due to future plans of a custom tray, canopy and rooftop tent setup, as well as having a tendency to cart things around on the weekend and needing a decent tray to do so.

The 1998 built ute came stock as a bone with one prior owner, only 108,000km’s on the clock and a previous life carting trees around for the council.
