Click on the button.

This button is located at the top of the thread. Once you have filled out your response, it will become the last message of that particular thread and will be seen by all people accessing the forum. A PM or private message You can use this function if you want to send a particular member of the forum a private message so only they can see it – not the entire 10,000 + members. To send a private message (PM) to a member on the forum, click on the particular member’s name in the forum where they have posted something. A list of options should appear when you have clicked on their username, including an option to see what other posts that particular member has written, view their profile, see their homepage (if they have one) or send them a private message. Attaching a picture As they say, ‘a picture can say a thousand words’, and sometimes it can be very handy to add a picture to help your post. While it might seem like a daunting task that should only be left to the computer experts out there, the truth is posting a picture on the forum is relatively simple and can be done by almost anyone. 1) First you will have to get your digital images/photos hosted on the web. Using a website such as http://photobucket.com/ is one of many ways to do this. Once your photo is hosted on one of these third-party sites, the rest is pretty straightforward. 2) Once your picture is uploaded on the web, you need to find the URL of the picture. While this might sound like double-dutch to you, it’s relatively easy. Find your picture where you have uploaded it (eg, photobucket.com or the like) and click on the image to make it bigger. Then right-click on it and choose ‘Properties’. Here you will find the URL (it starts off with http://). Simply highlight the entire URL and right-click on it and choose ‘Copy’. 3) In your message on the forum 4WD Action forum site, where you want your picture to appear you will need to click on the ‘Add Image’ button
4) Paste the URL (image location) into the above window and click ‘OK’. 5) Your picture should appear in your message. To check click on ‘Preview’. Picture etiquette 1) Pictures must not be offensive in any way. Remember that this is a family-oriented website. All pictures must comply with the ‘Terms and Conditions’ of this forum. http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=1944. 2) All images should be less than 640 by 480 pixels. Unfortunately, this forum doesn’t automatically resize images for you. Linking huge photos to your message will take the thread too long to load and blow out the boarders of the page. Many image hosting sites like ‘Photobucket’ or ‘Image Shack’, for example, have resizing options on their site. Please use this feature or, alternatively, resize your pictures before you upload them to the web.
