Twenty years of 4wding and I’ve loved every minute of it! It doesn’t matter if it’s a two day weekend getaway to the Flinders Ranges or 28 days in the Gibson Desert it’s been great. But it doesn’t need to be expensive to get out there – I sometimes think we go overboard with your toys. What makes it so good? Geez, there do I start? The quietness, the space, the colours, the sunsets, the ruggedness, and the variety – it’s the essence of Australia. You might see a heard of camels, a pack of dingoes or zeb finches heading for water. The people – I’ve made some great friends from all around Australia. And of course there’s the driving – using the bloody vehicle for what it’s meant to do!! So, why not rack up as many experiences as you can – life’s short ..yes? Pack the truck and family and get out there. If you’re not confident, join a club and get some experience. If you know what it’s all about, book your holidays, don’t let anything get in the way and go kruzn. No excuses really is there? Take it easy. Greg
