Will a late model Pajero 3.5 V6 go into a Triton instead of its dead 3.5 V6?

Will a late model Pajero 3.5 V6 go into a Triton instead of its dead 3.5 V6?

Hi, I own a Triton 2007 3.5 V6 (6G74) & I've been looking for another motor to fix up to go in when mine dies, but they are few and far between.
So I'm just curious, would a late model 3.5 from a Pajero suffice? Any help would be good. Cheers!

Wouldn't a 6g74 out of a Magna suit?

I think its a bit more stuffing around with magna motors.

What fooling around with an ex-magna engine are you concerned about? I understand that magna engines were east-west mounted, but so what? I would have thought that any 6g74 engine would fit the bill. Obviously, the condition of the replacement engine needs to be confirmed.
