I'd go Little Desert, never been out that way so it would be good to mark it off the list.

Firstly, someone give me a medal - I found this section! Good Lord it is hard to find.

Secondly, I totally agree with you both and would love to visit Little Dessert. I was there on the weekend just been in a corolla so didn't feel to go too far offroad especially with the owner in the car with me, but it's a beautiful place and it needs exporing.

Thirdly, September October weekends are good for me

Hi guys.

Little desert sounds good and it won't be effected by track closures (most re-open first weekend in November).

It's good that we start talking about this nice and early, lets try and get a date sorted ASAP, this is always the hardest part, and then we can worry about where as we progress and see what suggestions come in.

Best we get the word out early (PM everyone you can think off) and try to get some really good numbers up.

Spewin I missed the last one due to my daughters wedding, I was looking forward to the High Country trip but thankfully I have made a couple up that way since Xmas (Crooked River was a ripper, 28 water crossings).

Hope to see you all out on the tracks.
Stretch.

Maybe you'll even let me bring the wife's new toy on this run??? I can be the recovery truck.

Yeah mate.

She won't let me get it dirty and there's no way I'd get it off her for the weekend anyway.

Hi Guys,

Did a search this morning on the Little Desert National Park and found some disturbing information(to me anyway!!!) there are seasonal closures which is probably to be expected but the big one is that most of the campsites in the eastern part of the park have a nightly camping fee ranging from $11.70 per person per night to $34.00 per person per night.

Frankly I can't afford that cost on top of the cost of fuel and food and probably the loss of overtime by taking an RDO to make a long weekend of it!!!

So I will probably start asking for suggestions on where else you guys would like to go again!!!

Cheers Ian :thumb: :drink: :drink:
