Hi,
Planning to do the Gibb River Road in early April, most of the actual Gibb we have sorted but just wondering if anyone has ideas for nice camping areas or pubs/hotels to camp at between Katherine and Kununurra.
Cheers,
Tim

Hey Tim,
Welcome to the forum.
Isn't the Gibb River still likely to be closed then?

Nah, its almost all open now if you look at the main roads WA website.
Should be sweet by April.
There is the Buntine Highway and Duncan Rd between Katherine and Halls creek (with turn off to Kunnas near the boarder) which is a good road and quite good scenery. See Top Springs pub....bit rough but the beer is cold.
