Dash Cam Footage That Has To Be Seen To Be Believed

Unread post by Neat 60 » January 18th, 2015, 8:36 am

A mate of a mate was travelling through the Black Spur near Narbethong just before new year and what was captured on his dash cam has to be seen to be believed!

You can see the debris being blown onto the road in the earlier footage, then the bushes on the other side of the road start thrashing as the wind builds up while the vehicle approaches, and then the trees start falling!!

I guess that since you can often see swathes of destruction like that on tracks or further out in the bush, it's only natural that occasionally that sort of thing would hafta happen on one of the bigger roads as well, but catching it like that on the dash cam AND avoiding having one of them fall on top of him.... :petrified: He was bloody lucky in sooo many ways!! And the car on the other side looked to be just as lucky too!!

Make anyone want to think twice before camping under trees like that in the bush?? :sillywink:

You only have to drive the Back Spur to see all the damaged Armco railing to know that it's a regular occurrence in that area, but to actually see it like that - WOW!

Artworkz who have been publicising our track project, recently covered the incident in their eSplash publication.
