Questions that need answers!

For the stuff that's NOT 4WD related, here's where you can come on in and discuss it, but do play nice!

How do you tell when someones dead? Answer = no pulse..

So death certificates usually list causes of death as myocardial infarction... or the heart stops beating - in the common vernacular, = died of heart attack!.

So no one dies of old age - they die of "heart failure". Old age may well cause the heart failure - but it's not listed that way on death certificate by the presiding doctor.

Just more of those weird taboo subjects no one ever talks about!

Simple everything has an expiry date and a cause or fault: for example

Take an old vehicle it's not the age that gives up it's an old very worn out motor or the red metal (rust) so the cause of death is not age it's the motor fatigue or no body due to rust.

So if we serviced our bodies we would most likely last for ever, but we need to put a cause of the problem.

The answer to RODEODAVE question is 1 day old going from when I have been visiting old historical mining grave site cause
back then life was harder you read the head stones saying died at birth with the youngest saying died one day old.

why does one ton of gravel on my trailer make the tyres flatter than one ton of tree cuttings?
a guy i know reckons its cause one ton of gravel is actually heavier than 1 ton of tree clippings. but since both weigh the same on weighbridge than how can it be different?

Earth, rock, soil etc effects the molecules structure in rubber based items like tyres. The molecules spread from each other causing the item to become more supple. In the case of a tyre it would appear to look flat. Flora has no effect on the molecules in rubber………………………. :)
Actually I wouldn't have a clue. I just made all that up…... :D
Well actually I have a theory though. Gravel being more compact distributes it weight more evenly over the axle and hence the tyres. Foliage is all over the place in the back of a trailer with heavier bits here and lighter bits there. If thats not right default to my made up one….. :thumb:

The one ton of gravel would have been spread evenly in the trailer distributing the weight evenly over the trailers axle where the tree cuttings weren't cause trees cuttings are light compared to gravel until you are carrying one ton of each .
So my guess was the tree cuttings was loaded more to the front of the trailer which had the tow vehicle sharing the loads weight.

What happens when you get scared half to death twice?

As long as there is a gap between being scared half to death each time you will be OK . Your heart stops but not long enough to be classed as clinically dead.
You are lucky cause in this instant two halves don't make a whole.

How long (or wide) does the gap have to be? 10 minutes or 5 days? Or the size of my mother in law?

I got scared half to death once. So I guess that means I only have 1 more left? But then I was thinking maybe I was only scared 48% to death, so I should be right with one more scare...

No it's okay to be scared half to death more than twice cause two halves don't make a whole.

More poisonous because they become unstable after time & the residue remains.

I'm not sure if that ^^ is a question, answer, or rant.

But here's my question, I've been pondering since the long weekend.

Why can't some dog owners understand that not everyone is a dog lover?
