Missfire or Stutter - what would cause it?

Unread post by majorv » January 18th, 2016, 8:30 am

My MK 03 Triton has developed a Stutter or Misfire Mainly occurs when during the first 5-10 minutes of driving then seams clear.
Its dual fuel however have stopped using the LPG side as the Stutter caused a few backfires. When using LPG it seemed to choke down, so i replaced the Air cleaner which seemed to help a little however i noticed the silver honey comb in air duct was a little damaged.
Not sure what the honey comb thing is (lame i know) and if that may be affecting the overall performance.
Any advise would be good
Thanks

common with duel fuel is a backfire on gas causing an inlet hose to get dislodged and let air in.
