A little update on my 89 Pajero Shorty. Removed sidesteps.
In the process of swapping motors at the moment, new motor is just a 2.6 petty as well but runs heaps better then the one in it. Also scored some extractors.

Hi All,

A stranger on here in Pajero but a friend had a Pajero which failed roadworthy so it went to the wreckers, don`t ask , but a new set of front shockies were purchased for it as well as a new starter so I have these to sell.

The shockies are Gabriel Ultras model no. G63418. These are brand new still in unopened box, they are for sale to best offer plus postage. These may fit other makes and models but I don`t know which ones.

Also I have a brand new starter for a V6 in this model, this will also fit this motor in a Magna I am guessing, it has never been installed in the vehicle and is still in the box it came in when purchaser from a supplier in Redcliffe. Once again best offer plus postage.

I am located in Laidley south east Qld and they can be picked up here or at Goodna in Ipswich Qld.

They are of no use to me so maybe one of you guys might need a new parts.

Happy Trails.

Looking at the body I can see there is a lot of rust so I am in need of a new shell

Hi siddo,
Although I had an 85 Pajero It never got to have a winch but my NL did. I had an alloy Bocar bar and I fitted a winch. On the NL chassis there are 2 25mm punched holes on the inner side near the end of both rails. I cut shafts out of 25mm round that were shorter then the width of the chassis rails and drilled and tapped them 12mm. I welded a nut on the other end. These sat in the chassis holes. I then welded plates across the ends of a piece of heavy channel iron with the correct hole centres and this sat between the rails and was bolted there using 8grade high tensile bolts. From memory I bent a cheap spanner to get at the rear hex. My winch had synthetic rope so I cut a hole to suit the facia plate in the bullbar and ran 6mm aluminium behind along until the bar bent to shape the car. This was bolted on with 6mm ss bolts, washers and nyloc nuts. It all worked well and never let me down . Hope this helps. Regards Tony.

Hey guys,
My old man just bought a ng paj turbo diesel it already has a rear arb locker, tjm bar with a warn which, safari snorkel and a couple of other bits such as dual batteries. What would you guys suggest to make her a bit more capable? We are planning to put a front locker, decent set of muddies, roof basket, cupboard for the back, rock sliders.
Also what type of rims would fit? Wanting to go atleast 33"
Is there anywhere to buy rock sliders that would fit?
Thanks guys

Hi guys,
Just picked up this nb and soon to head into the vic high country. Does anyone have some tips for keeping the water out of this air intake until i get time to buy a snorkel? I've had no experience with this set up before, only plan is tarp on the front. It already has diff breathers.

Cheers
