Buy a safari snorkel. I am biased, plus I am not a fan of home made jobbies :O)

New to the Forum, am from the uk.

Thought i would show you my 89 2.5td intercooled.

How it was when i bought it

How it is now

Mods so far...

2" Body lift
Roughly 2" suspention lift, using Mk2 LWB rear springs and front torsion bar reset round one spline and cranked up.
Wheels are 10x15 modular black steels, with -38 offset i do believe. Its a big offset, but looks ace! And also spreads the weight better too.
Tyres are Maxxis Buckshot Mudders, 33x12.50 R15. Great tyres, on and off the road.
Arch extensions
Clear lense Headlamps. Highly recommend these, only 30 notes, and with some philips extreme vision bulbs they are fantastic!! So much better than the original ones.
Front bumper removal, along with some slight body panel adjustment to the rounded blue bits just below the headlight/front corners, that used to sit behind the bumper. Just so the tyres don't catch whell on full lock etc.
Custom rear bumper, old one junked.
I also now have a cb, with ariel mount top right corner on the rear, and a work lamp on the top left corner.
Upped the turbo boost, via an adjustable boost valve, to 14/15psi on full boost. Goes a lot better now!
Removed egr and put blanking plates in.
Voltmeter and boost gauges in the centre 3-gauge pod to keep an eye on things!
Got a big Lucus deep cycle battery in there too, as the old one was knackered.

Hope you like!

Rob.

Hey lads, haven't been on here for some time due too work and family crap. Anyhow, I had to adjust my left side T-bar today coz it's saggin and it was pissing me off, had to re-index it bout 2splines. All went well but when I was bashin it back in the hole this little end cap of whatever it is fell out and I can't get it back in, not sure what it is or if it needs to be there but it goes in the back of the adjuster to fill the hole thats there.
Do I need this back in place or is it fine to leave it out? Cheers

Hi every one
Just thought I'd just post a pic or two on here I have a 88 NF pajero 2.5TD at the moment it has a alloy bull-bar which is going to be changed to a steel winch bar, driving lights, rear LSD, snorkel.
I have plans on putting on a roof driving lights, front locker, Rock sliders, and a 2" lift. but that is for later.

Hi,

can you tell me how much fuel the 1990 3.0 V6 needs?
And how much is a well preserved used one worth nowadays?
