Hi all!! This my 1st post. This my 92nh all mods have been made in my shed at home. It has GQ patrol rear springs rocksiders winch bar, roof rack rear led work light. ATM I'm building a rear bar for it.

Hey guys just looking for opinions I can get a 91 2.5 turbo diesel pajjy for 2000 or i ccud get a patrol for 4500 that's seen better days.. the pajjy has a second hand motor put in not even 1000km ago and is pretty clean all my Mayes reckon I shudnt get the paj cuz they are ***** off-road which I dnt justify condsidering they think the new hiluxs are ifs but peeps think they are capable aanyway I was thinking 2" sus 2" body lift 33' bighorns snorkel turbo back exhaust and a tank of diesel for the same price as a gas guzzling patrol I live near glasshouse so I want a tuff fourbie but I think the paj wud be upto it wat u guys think?!!! Cheers

mate a 4by is only as good as the driver and the mods done. crank the torsion bars and cut down the top bump stops at the mold line, put a set of factory stock GQ patrol LWB coils in the rear and you have a 2-3 inch lift which is enough to fit 33's on a neg 23 offset wheel. then lock the front diff and it will go anywhere you want. can get AISIN free wheeling hubs off a 90's triton and all good

I would take the paj as ive had ac.4.2 turbo ute n so farvive takin s paj everywhere i have tskin the patrol..
But if u plan to tour id get the diesel pootrol

Yer I had a 3l pajjy that was stock and I took that same places I took my 4inch lifted 33 fitted surf... I pike the underdog appeal of the paj wat do u guys think of the turbo diesel or wud ya go the petrol version/? Also I had major probs with the cvs in my surf ow do u guys go with the pajjys I heard they are abit stronger than Toyota

easier than you would think just a little fiddly and the wiring reaches there with just the gentlest of tugs on it. cost= 2 new bolts. best mod so far i reckon

95 NJ pajero wagon 2.8L TDI 5spd GLS: 2" suspension lift (tough dog springs, rancho shocks, rock crawler h/d torsion bars), 2" body lift, snorkel, tube winch bar. much more planned.

small price to pay as now i can safely be stuck in water level just under the guard indicator without it touching the ECU or wiring plugs for it (that's with it at the same water level inside aswell) as a bonus the speakers are louder and sound better there
