Hi guys some beautiful Pajeros in here so here's mine :)
I've finally upgraded my 89 NF Paj to the 05 NP Paj (DiD Manual) which I bought for 19G's with 200,000k's on it, very well looked after in and out.
Fairly stock standard so far, all I've done is the Tough Dog/King spring 2" lift and ordered my Bushskinz bash plates thanks to every ones recommendation.
Next on the shopping list is a GPS Audio Unit, GME UHF probably the tx3345/3520, DPChip exhaust and tune, some bigger AT Tyres (eventually), Dual battery or a different front bar(depending how I use it), would like to do something about the factory side steps(not a fan) don't know yet though, Chrome side mirrors, and some other tools and gear :D
Any suggestions would be great and I'll be sure to share my adventures

Cheers

Hi all, not new to the forum and would like to tell you about my recent purchase. :D

The old surf was getting very long in the tooth and was gonna cost me a fortune to fix. So I did some math and looked around at my options.

Budget was around $8k and the petrol NM's fitted in there nicely. Saw a few duds before finally settling on a 2001 NM Exceed with 168,000klm on the clock. I knew there were a couple of issues with it, firstly had been in a front end shunt and there were scratches on bumper and a few dings on ugly nudge bar to prove it. Bonnet and Guards are starting to fade. And it wouldn't idle when cold.

Nudge bar and bumper are going to be scrap as soon as I can find a bullbar so no worries there. Bonnet and guards will get a lick of clear as soon as I stop playing with it. ( um, the paj that is.) Idle problem fixed with a $150 part.

Cost me $7k.

Have taken it up to Bribie a couple of times and WOW does it love the sand. Put it places the surf would have keeled over miles before. Got stuck once and hopped out to see sand up to the side steps. Tyres down to 15 and it cruised out.

fuel cons so far has been around 15l/100 which means all things added in it is cheaper to run than my 2.4 td surf. Best fuel has been 11.8 for a full tank of hwy.

To say I am happy is an understatement.

Anyone have a Bullbar they want to get rid of. Rare as hens teeth they are, and don't feel like spending $2k on a bar for a $7k vehicle.

Keep an eye out at wreckers around Brisbane. I think you'll find a front bar going very soon.

reckon you could PM me with more info please mate. I have been going around to all the wreckers and they just tell me they will put it on ebay. Hoping to catch one before it does.

also been checking the auction sites to see if any wrecks come up.
