Snapcatcher I noticed you have the 33Inch KM2's. Have you had any issues with them rubbing?

Hey mate,

I havent had any problems with rubbing. You'll see in my post above I needed to trim the front mud guards, but other than that no probs. Uses a bit more fuel and accelleration is slightly less, but the Paj is no race car so for the extra benefit off-road im happy with my choice.

Thats a nice rig you have there mate. Have you tried getting up little and big red yet? I'm not game to try
Snapcatcher where did you get your rear bar made?
Might see you out at glasshouse some time, I'm not far from there, Maleny.

G'day, the rear bar is made by Outback Accessories, sold through Opposite Lock.

The Paj is our main family vehicle so I dont go up knarly hills unless I really need to. I enjoy a good challange like most, but risking damage on those hills just to say that I did it doesnt interest me as much anymore.

Thanks for that, and I bet it was not cheap.
Fare enough mate, and like you my vehicle is our main family car too, I only attempt those hills on my KTM trail bike when I'm feeling brave which isn't very often these days lol.

Cheers, Geoff

Took the Pajero out for a play in the sand today, I was pleasantly surprised on how it performed.
some on the hills we went up I would have been happy to make it half way up but when i crested the top I had a smile from ear to ear.
Great Fun, i may have to go back tomorrow.
Here's a couple of pic's but they don’t do it justice to the size of the hills etc.

Hi All. Here’s my first post.

2001 NM Paj 3.5 petrol auto.

Stuff fitted so far: Safari Snorkel. BFG AT’s. Front bar. Warn dual-beam lights. Steel bash-plates. Just adding a GME UHF. On wish list: 2 inch lift or rear lockers, which would you choose first?

Welcome to the forum..

I'd go the 2" lift 1st, you have an LSD in the back which is 1 of the best out there.. By adding a front air locker to mine it's just about unstoppable..

Hi guys. About to sell the old 4runner and have been looking at a very well looked after NM 3.2 Exceed with very low ks. Seems like a capable truck? Anything to look for that can go wrong as it is 10yrs old? It is stock appart from a towbar used to pull a small boat.

G'day Freaky, sounds like a nice find.. Check the upper timing chain guide, if auto make sure nice smooth changes & if it hasn't done much off road work have a play with the super select it should change smoothly with green lights flashing for 30 secs a lot that haven't done much off road work will stay flashing for ages. That is an easy fix though & I wouldn't let that stop you from purchasing.. Then all normal checks..
