Try Australian Land Rover Owners

There's a lot of LR owners from Brisbane and thereabouts on there.

0.Go with what landysteve said. He will ship anywhere in Aus, and sources imports most LR parts to aus, especially for older models as Land Rover themselves no longer do. He also has extensive aftermarket range at EXCELLENT prices, excellent range of modding equipment and anything you could want for your excellent choice of fourby
I love Julian and his '86 Rangie "Drangonfly"

For the Puma - all my parts are ordered on line from the UK. In fact my last order was for fuel filters, air filters, oil filters, new belt, (these are all parts that I take when going outback) including a few other little things I need - enough for the next 5 services.

I have a mechanic who is happy for me to supply parts, he stamps the book for the every 20k services and I do the 10k services, and by importing them I'm saving more than 50% cost. I've done this since the Defender was new.

I find by ordering the parts, and understanding exactly what is required for each service, I have a better understanding of the vehicle, and how my Defender operates - this is important when in the outback no matter what you are driving.

Like ‘browndogrider’ and ‘Landy Steve’ said online is the place to get what you need. 90% of the things I have bought have come from the net, mainly the UK and Europe and the odd thing from the US.
Locally I’ve used ‘Mulgo’ out of Sydney for some accessories and at present I’m saving my coin for a ‘Rijidj’ spare wheel carrier from Geelong. Online ‘Equipe 4x4’ (Australia)
International suppliers
Britcar, Britparts, Rimmer Brothers, Devon 4x4, Alive Tuning, Alli Sports, MM 4x4, Mobile Center, X-eng and Mudstuff. All out of the UK
Entreq, Nakatanenga 4x4 and Matzker from Europe
Lucky 8 and Dynamat from the US
That should keep you entertained for a while. It keeps me entertained no end. :frog:

The internet is your friend. Look up ebay.uk - specify uk - there is lots of LR gear there.

Ive narrowed my list of places down over the years...

My top two are:
1. British Offroad on the Sunshine Coast
2. LR-Direct.com in the UK

For specific stuff (in no particular order):
1. Ashcroft Transmissions in the UK - excellent for specific stuff like axles, transmissions & axle lockers.
2. Bell Auto Services in the UK for anything ecu / remap related
