what size tyres on 88 range rover

i have just bought a 88 rangie and want to run 35" or 33" tyres what do i need to do to make these fit

35s, 2" susp, 2" body, Cut guards & flares, offset rims then let the breakages begin!

For 33"s 2" susp or 2" body, cut guards & flares offset rims then slightly less breakages begin!

THis is a rough guide.

I would go the 33's as less breakages as PSI250 was saying

Nah! Go the 35s if thats what you want, but be prepared to upgrade the diffs (4.11's and locker) and the axles to cope. CVs also if you have the cash. All this will cost you about 7-8 grand... Saves all the breakages though...unless you really flog it.
