Anybody tried EFS Coils??

Unread post by steelo » December 3rd, 2013, 10:37 am

Have just ordered some EFS coils (2") from 4WD1 (220 a pr with free delivery), medium comfort, & was just wondering if anybody else has experience with these. I have Bilstien shocks so will keep them for a while, will be towing a van around a lot soon, that's the main reason for the lift . I have used EFS shocks before & found them to give a great ride so am presuming coils the same sort of ride. :D

I've had a set of EFS coils on the front of my 06 Hilux for a few years now. Gave me the 2" lift and better ride and handling. They have survived a recent trip up to the cape including the tele and frenchmans tracks towing an offroad camper.

Thanks, I've just put them on all corners & yes they definitely gave me lift but haven't really had them on long enough (1 day) to see how they handle everything but are a big improvement so far. EFS coils & Bilstien shocks, which were a bugger (read hard) to compress & expanded quickly, should make an interesting combination :D
