Unread post by jaymills5 » June 29th, 2011, 10:56 am

Hey guys,

i was out playing yesterday and got a little carried away and well i blew my diff housing up, im wondering if anyone knows if you can put the sierra diff in the front as they are still instead of alloy which i have heard is a common problem in the vitara? any help would be appreciated thanks guys!!

hi mate your vitara is idependant front end and the seirra is solid so you will have to do a solid axel conversion there are kits about for this but they are expensive . you woud be better fitting diff breathers and a bash plate

If you have not broken the axle housing on the Vitara,
you can fit a Sierra steel diff centre/housing in,
but bottom of the Sierra diff needs a cut and reweld,
or crossmember/suspension support on Vitara needs cutting and welding.

Full steek GV v6 axle housing and diff housing is a good solution.
