Will Maxxis Bighorn MT764 31x10.5R15's fit a 2" lift R50?

Unread post by scottybaz87 » February 26th, 2014, 4:36 pm

My apologies in advance if this topic has already been covered, but im thinking about giving my 2002 R50 pathfinder a 2" lift and some mud tyres.

my question is wether or not the tyres i plan on purchasing will fit, keeping in mind that i plan on giving it the 50mm lift before i buy the tyres, im doing all of this on as little budget as possible so please dont advertise all the other state-of-the-art options that are available and are "better" but if you can suggest options within the same price range they would be considered.

anyways, im doing the cheap and nasty ebay job here and this is the lift kit i plan on buying http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 1328286911

so with that 2" lift, will these tyres fit? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MAXXIS-BIGHO ... a27&_uhb=1

ive heard this size will fit with an "offset" added, im pretty sure someone in this forum somewhere said this exact rim/tyre combination fits their R50 pathfinder but only with a 40mm lift, since im going 50mm i think i will have plenty of room.

my apologies if this topic has been covered previously, as i am only new to four wheel drive ownership your patience and advice is appreciated

Hi mate, bit of a late reply but.......
I have 245 75 16 MT764 on my 00 pathie with about 50mm lift.
I chose this size because with my standard rims the tyres come pretty close to the strut/spring base. if you get rims with a different offset you will clear the strut and should be right.
have a look on PCOA
Cheers
