Re: Navara Crew - Show us your Nav
Hey lads,
Here is my recently acquired D22. Loving it so far though the QD32 is definitely in need of the loving, helping hand of boost! Been great though though, loving it.
First two pics are sellers pics, the remaining are from Gardens of Stone NP/Baal Bone Gap on the weekend. Had a heap of fun and surprised myself getting up the ledge at BBG 2nd crack! The Landcruiser needed a tow

Been pretty much trouble free other than a few niggles like replacing a wheel bearing, replacing a missing circlip in the hub assembly and flushing the cooling system/cleaning the radiator.
Things I need/need to do include buying a winch, some more recovery gear (though I have most of the major stuff already) and straighten all the fins on the A/C. It turns into a mud plow pretty quickly and the temp gauge doesn't like it
Things I have learnt include going through the mud AFTER the guy with 33s (I have 31s), Landcruiser owners don't like you making fun of them and Photobucket/my internet doesn't like you uploading 6 pics at once
All in all I'm loving it
Cheers

the canvas can be rolled up under the canopy and be not visible from outside, looks better then straps in my opinion.
there is a costom awning the slides into a sail track on the side also, the alloy roof cage was sandblasted and clear coated to give a ruff no shinny finish.
How far does the roof rack continue ove the truck cab. I am getting one made but would like it to. Big big enough to take an oztent rv 5.
Lost again

Re: Navara Crew - Show us your Nav
G-day all,
been watching a large amount of episodes from the 4wd action dvd's and loving it. Thought i would sign up and become a member of the community.
I own a 2004 D22 navara. Second owner with 155k on the clock with a factory zd30. Bought the car completely stock off an older Navara enthusiast. So far the mod list is as follows.
- 2" suspension lift.
- 2" body lift.
- 2" diff blocks in the rear.
- 2" extended u-bolts in rear.
- 33" x 12.5" hercules trail digger tyres.
- Mickey Thompson 15x12" alloy rims.
- Factory alloy bullbar.
- 95000lbs winch front mount on custom made cradle.
- Custom made bash plate.
- 4 rod holder on the bullbar
- 2 x bow shackles.
- 2 x O bolts on bull bar.
- 24" light bar on bullbar.
- 42" light bar mounted on roof.
- Custom made roof basket.
- 2 X spotties mounted on roof.
- 150psi / 160lpm air compressor feeding 80L storage tank (for air tools etc)
- Shovel with shovel mount.
- Custom made rear tray with slim line LED lights.
- Waeco cooler mounted in place of centre console.
- JVC bluetooth head unit.
- Blaupunkt 900watt amp.
- Slim line sub
- 2 x JVC speakers in front doors.
- 2 x pioneer speakers in rear doors.
Within the next few months i plan on enclosing the rear of my tray to build my own custom canopy with fold out doors and mount tyres on the rear of it. Looking to go 35" tyres once these ones are down to wear indicators. Overall the navara has never let me down in the near 2 years i have owned it. Ideally would like to get a feature on one of the 4WD action dvd's, so if your reading this admin, hint hint.
