Hey Daz it's not really the lift that limits the overall size it's more about avoiding hitting the inner wheel arch pannels on full-lock, you'll be OK.

In a manual it will 'kill the power' more noticably, I don't notice it with the auto, it's still zippy taking off and it stays on boost while changing up gears. It still does a two-wheel stand-still on dry bitumen (although rotating pretty slow)

It's a little lower in the RPM's at 100km/h and with the roof racks loaded up when touring creating more wind resistance, she prefers to sit on 110km/h because it's got a few more RPM's therefor a bit more power to cruise up the slight hills on fwy's.

Low range- I can easily 'step on it' and chuck mud while going up a sloppy hill or in a mud pit, you would just need to get into the boost range to do the same.

Any more questions just ask ;)

Thanks Nutt, I sort of figured it would be noticeable. I hve 265/75's on my manual d40 and I noticed a bit of a change. I don't notice it now as I have gotten used to them.
I actually noticed the brakes more than the power. Was harder to pull up that is for sure.

Hey guys, im planning on doing a 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift to fit a nice set of 33x12.5 MTZ's.

what ive heard from a few tyre places is that the tyre will be destroyed by the bullbar and inside the guard. i think that is a load of ***** to start with and i just want some opinions from people who know what they are actually talking about instead of hearing from a "Professional" who probs drives a falcon or something.
I have a stock steel bar and i am willing to cut into it if i have to, in order to fit some 33's but not so keen on cutting inside the guard.

Cheers,
Willo

So has anyone Put a set of 32's on their D22 with the Std 16X8 Alloy wheels and found them not to scrub to much?

At the moment i have a set of well worn 265/75R16 ST's and they very occasionaly rub in the usual spots mentioned above in the bush.

Looking to buy a set of 285/70R16's (31.7inch) or 285/75R16's (32.8inch) and dont really want to change the wheels out. Happy to give the gaurds a little massage though, just dont want to be rubbing to bad on anything important...

The truck has a 2" suspension lift, but no bodylift...

Cheers

What offset rim to u need to run on a D22 navara in order to keep it in the stock flares? my car was yellow stickered due to that and i dont want it yellow stickered again! plan on running some 32/11.5R15 or R16 after a long think about it.

decision is due to total travel, please tell me if im making a mistake and should actually stick with a set of 33/11.5 or 12.5R15 or R16.

Cheers guys, much appreciated coz i cant afford to waste any money coz it takes me like half the year to get tyres :D
