There is not a lot around for G60 .So few of them on the road I mean. There is nothing wrong with the original diffs, but your mate is probably looking at lokkers or LSD right? I know an MQ LSD will go in (but shock mounts are different) Not sure about the centre it depends on the axle splines .There may also be brake line issues;you may need to fabricate new ends or something?

The fount of G60 wisdom.

If he has the H260 diff in the back he's laughing ... plenty available for them.

MK/MQ rear diff will also fit, however the springs are 20mm wider spaced then the 60.

arb make air lokka for the rear , but i dont know about the front . Im trying to find a front lokka myself , and also a different brand of rear lokka . There must be more out there than just the arb . 4wd systems make lokkas for the 160 which i dont think is much different . Adam from Tunkawallin 4by club also told me arb can make custom lokkas to fit just about anything

Detroit do a Locker for them, Front is easy altho I think the rear is a special order. Talk to Opposite Lock (retail outlet for 4WD Detroits), Locked Drive Systems (Aust Importer), or Harrop Engineering (Aust branch of Eaton, who now own Detroit.) There are also other options, like the Dominator LSD, or the Detroit TruTrac geared LSD. It will help a great deal if he knows which diff he has, and what the axle dia & spline count is.

Cheers

My first 4x4 was an ol army camo G60 mid wheel base!
It got me away from building up street machines and V8 utes and the like and into the real world of 4bys
They are a great ol truck tuff as nails.
When i had my wrecking yard a few yrs ago i couldnt and didnt sell anything off the G60 i was wrecking, because nothing breaks!
The diffs are akin to a cement trucks diff.
Good luck with it!
