I Love G60`s
. They Unbreakable and Built like a Brick S*ithouse. They Might Be Ruff, but Bloody Tuff,But you get a Great Feeling when U are Driving an old G60,These are Bueat Machines and are Indestructable, and are basically a Tractor with a Chassis

i drive a g60 everyday, have owned this particular one for about 5 years now. its as tough as nails and has never let me down, i have one on the road and 4 others, some are still goers and some are just for parts. i absolutly love em!! only thing ive had to do is wheel bearings front and rear and a swivel housing kit..

Very nice!!!
I owned a G60 long wheelbase ute and it was a BEAST!!! Wish I still had it.
A mate owned the wagon version and we both drove them hard. The only problem is rust and constant brake problems due to water and mud entering the drums, which are all round.
The 4L motor is a reliable strong motor and when coupled with a holley and extractors had some extra poke and much better economy.
If I had the time and mechanical ability I would love to have one for fun - especially with the top off in summer.
Love them!!

Re: Nissan g60 patrol What u think?
the first rig I remember is a G60 my dad had,
I remember sitting in it in the car yard when he got it in '82,
it was a lemon while he had it, anything that could go wrong did
BUT the bloke he sold it 2 patched up the motor & hasn't had a problem since
on the plus side they are simple, solid, can pull like a D8 dozer,
fairly un-killable & easy enough 2 work on if u do break anything.
the negative is the original P40 motors will have u looking for shares in a fuel company,
they have a habit of throwing conrods if over revved, slower than the previosly mentioned dozer
& what I've found is it's usualy cheaper to get a another whole G60 than the parts to fix up
whats wrong with the one your working on ( I've ended up with 3 that way )
