a few questions regarding MK/MQ Patrols.

Hey, I've got a few questions about MK/MQ Patrols, some of them are sorta noob questions, but I'll see how I go.

1) What's the difference between an MK and an MQ? I hear some are 24V, which ones?

2) Will GQ front end panels bolt up to an MK or MQ? I know they are roughly the same shape car, but I much prefer the look of a GQ.

3) What are the diffs like in an MK/MQ? are they as good as the later diffs? From what I hear the later diffs are near bulletproof.

4) Many problems converting a 24V one back to 12V operation?

5) Anyone got some general specs and info for me?

Not a lot -

1. MK - 5 Speed MQ - 4 speed, Spring bushes are different, head lights MQ Round - MK rectangular, Mk 12 Volt sd33, SD33T (turbo diesel)

2 Yes - see http://mq-patrol.com/

3 yes - H233b used in the GQ, the GU has even better diffs

4. 24 - 12 has been done using MK bits, dash alt, strter, etc
