HJ75 indicator removal

Unread post by Dicko_81 » August 6th, 2017, 1:04 pm

Giday folks my young fella has just bought his first 4WD - a 1992 Lancruiser ute, it is going in for a paint job and we need to remove the indicator assembly - got the lens off but can't see how to get the whole assembly off. Searched the electric interwebs without any luck. Help would be appreciated.

Cheers

there are three nuts, you need to lift or open the bonnet and reach inside the guard, you will feel the three studs with nuts on them, undo the three nuts, they come off complete without needing to remove the lens :)

thanks Dicko,
got the grill and lights from eBay, lights bolt straight up to existing factory holes,
grill fitted with minor mods, ie i had to elongate the holes about 2mm on the two outer plastic mounting tabs at the top of the grill, then just had to bend the two lower outrigger brackets on the truck down 5mm, easily done by hand, I cut the factory plugs off my old lights & soldered them to the new lights to keep the harness factory plugs.
this is the store i got them from
