Hope you don't mind me posting my new build up project here. This is what I'm up to over the next few months: Due to a roll over (one for the campfire, not online lol) I had a rebuilt from bottom end up 93 runner engine. After being patient and waiting after 14 months I found an immaculate 95 runner with cracked head. Cost me $1500 for the new runner and $600 to install my "newly rebuilt" engine. So all in all $2100 for my runner. That said, it has Series 2000 heavy duty gas shocks all round and springs on the rear. I put a TJM alloy bar on. Rhino rack going on next week. I have also ordered a long range tank and spare wheel carrier from 4wd systems in Adelaide. (haven't told the wife yet. will deal with that when they are delivered lol). Then adding a snorkel. Once these 3 are installed off she goes for gas injection. This will give me a range somewhere around the 1500km mark. Will be adding a winch with synthetic rope to keep weight down. And also adding E lockers front and rear. As for the interior, will be adding a fridge freezer and a set of drawers. Stay tuned. Will post pics as and when I have each item installed.

I have recently finished my project 1991 Toyota 4runner. It’s the SR5 Limited so it has most of the driver comforts items such as fast glass, power mirrors and cruise. The car was off the road and parked in a paddock for 4 years with a blown engine until I purchased it for $1500 plus another 12 months while I repaired the engine, fixed the numerous oil leaks, fitted my own custom 2.5”exhaust, replaced much of the front suspension and spent roughly a full month of nights and weekends just trying to get it clean which included totally stripping the interior. Fortunately the seats were fitted with sheepskin covers for most of their life so it would be one of the very few 4runners on the road with a driver’s seat trim in 'perfect' condition. So serious mods intended as it will only ever see 'touring' duty and light to medium off road work, it’s not my daily either so fuel economy etc is of no concern.

Have to say; I'm very happy with the end result.
