3.0td fuel consumption???

hi have had a look around and would just like to know what klms you guys are getting out of your 3.0td surfs i have looked around and found they do 350 to 400 klms a it sounds a bit high to me as i had a 4runner v6 and i was getting about the same is this right any help would be great thanks....

Yeah ok that's sounds better as my 4runner was average 350klms to 60 liters thanks for the reply

mines a 5 speed, so around town i get around 500 & last trip away fully ladden just on 800k

This will improve power and also consumption. So very cheap and easy. have a look. worth every cent;

That looks like the biggest load of crap I've ever seen :crazy: think I'd rather just stay off the loud pedal a little, I reckon that's the best way to save on fuel :thumb:

so what vacume line is he blocking off? egr control?

im blocking off the top line into the erg valve. after doing this mod had a look around an a chat to a few hilux fanatics and are goin the whole hog and finishing the job with small steel/tin plates and some gasket glue as below. http://toyotasurf.asn.au/techsite/egr.htm
SurfingAnt i thought it was a load of ***** to but it workd great. he is really just selling info and once i realised what it was i had more of an in depth look into it once i received it. it was the greatest simple mod ive ever done with out a single tool need. two fingers...

Haha yeah I was in a bad mood when I posted that sorry, what I should have said was save yourself the $5 and just remove the EGR gear altogether as you'll no longer need any of it when it's not doing anything anyway.
