Hey Guss, haven't got one myself, probably won't either, but I've been noticing there are more'n more of them out there touring these days!?

Maybe not quite so many hitting the really gnarly stuff, but they are certainly growing in popularity amongst the tourers, and they seem to do that fairly well!! I reckon you could do a lot worse than go for one of them!! :thumb:

Ps, hope you'n yours had a good Easter, & good to hear from you too! ;)

My brother has a Sahara. Low power for such big engine and high fuel consumption to match. The front suspension sags so expect to do an upgrade after a little use.

Big on the outside bit not so big on the inside. Lots of nice luxury touches.

Good reliable vehicle - just a little bland.

If you think they suit then go for it.

I'm pretty happy with whats reported from others with the 200 series economy wise.. Plenty of punch for my needs, & yes like all 4WDs these days stock suspension is not fantastic.. I'll be upgrading the suspension straight away as I tow a 2 Ton Off Road Van. ;)

Well expect an average 22-24l/100km when towing that van. That is what my bro is getting towing his similar sized van.

People seem to be a lot happier after they have fitted a lockup kit of some sort, I think the programming of the gearbox is much more suited to countries with higher speed limits..

You will have to join lcool :)

Nice looking 200, but Jeez Guss, that's gonna be a bit of a wrench isn't it.... saying farewell to your Paj!?! Ahhh well, as the body gets older you just gotta do things like this, at least the 200 will provide armchair comfort and pull the van with ease!! :thumb:

And I s'pose while you get the comfort & power, someone else's gonna get a bloody nice Paj out of it too - that's a pretty good price considering the condition & all the gear on it!!

You will regret it  - you should have bought a Discovery 4 - more oomph on the road, better fuel consumption, larger inside, better tow vehicle, better to drive

I am sure you will be happy with your purchase - enjoy, they are a good vehicle.
