Gold Coast 4wd mechanic?

Unread post by robo yobo » June 14th, 2007, 10:35 pm

Hi again - looking to have some work done to the Prado prior to big trip at end of year:p:D . Full check, wish-list, electric work, brakes etc. Any suggestions on who to use (fair, reliable bla, bla, bla). We are on North end of Gold Coast (Nerang, Labrador etc). I know of a few but have never used any.

Thanks in advance.

I found Australian 4WD at 3/12 Indy Court, Nerang to be spot on for my old Pajero. Found the part 2nd hand, fitted it for a fair price and made good suggestions about another problem.

personally, i use ANT Mechanical in labrador.

the main mechanic and owner of the workshop, anthony, is a top bloke. not only does he know his stuff and take great pride in his work, but he is also an agent for Black Rat, ECB Bullbars and a couple of others that i cant remember. his workshop is always full of really nice cars (ford cobras, big V8's, my 4wd :D ) and he personally is into 4wding himself (he drives a gq and is not afraid to use it like it was intended.) cannot recommend him highly enough.

he is located at 4 Kendor St Labrador

ph 55637755.

Oh, forgot to mention, he is also RACQ approved.

good luck

Sean again. Or try M&S Autos at Davenport Street in Southport, or OffRoad World in Carrara.
