hey,
I am looking at getting my first car and ive been looking at a 1992 Pajero 3.0l petrol manual. I was wondering if there are any problems i should keep an eye out for with that model.
Cheers
Any problems with 1992 Pajeros as a first car?

a few friends had them in years gone by, seemed to go forever as long as you fill up the oil and top up the petrol regularly.
like most mitsubishi's of the era they are known for becoming smokey with age

They are awesome cars for what they are, a lot of technology in them. The diesel is the one you want, the v6 will chew petrol and have lots of little issues, but still a great starter truck.

The biggest let down with the pajeros of the era was the V6 motors, They seem to have a lot of issues.
As a 4wd i rate them, I have had a couple and loved them, comfy, spacious, rear factory diff lock in some and did everything i asked. But the v6 motor are just the weak link.
But as a starting truck, entry level to get you in the game and have some fun, Why not,
Enjoy it

I had a 94 2.8 diesel.
My first 4x4 and what a vehicle to have. the SuperSelect 4WD system is a dream coupled with the already mentioned factory rear air locking diff. Brilliant.
Mine took me over the Swiss, Italian and French Alps three times.
Auto box can get a bit warm and the cooling system also. Fine after a brew stop.
Just keep an eye on the gauges and go for it.
