Unread post by Inkathu » March 10th, 2018, 10:20 pm

Hey all,

I'm looking at buying my first 4x4, I've been looking at Hilux's, Landcruiser Cab Chassis' and Rodeo's (i'm looking for a ute or a cab chassis, Turbo Diesel) What would you guys recommend for a first TD 4x4 Ute/Cab Chassis, Looking for something under 15k. Also try to include common issues with them (engine problems, places that are susceptible to rust etc.) All recommendations appreciates. Mostly looking for a weekend 4x4 (something that can be driven daily without hassle such as excessively rough rides. Mostly going to be touring, going through mud, water and sand, Not as much rock climbing.

Thanks Y'all :) :)

Find yourself a good 100 series toyota, 1HDT-FTE, plenty of power and nearly as capable as the 80 series.

How is the fuel economy? are they efficient enough to be driven daily? and what problems are common?
Thanks for the suggestion.
