GU Patrol overheating problem

Unread post by Cav » February 16th, 2006, 3:55 pm

Currently drive a 2.8lt Turbo diesel GU Patrol having an overheating problem, when pulling up hill. Has anyone had this type of problem or can offer advice on what it may be. Have replaced thermostat & fan clutch.

Maybe water pump. ??? The radiator and cooling system might need a good flush.
You havn't put big spotlights on the front lately that could be blocking air circulation?
Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Cheers Mick.

I heard that sometimes the fins in the core of the radiator gets block so not letting the air flow through; so flush the fins out with water for two or three stubies ;)
