PX ranger bull bars- ARB or TJM?

Unread post by eveyoz » October 28th, 2012, 11:39 am

I notice that TJM now sell an outback bull bar for the PX ranger, ARB already do the deluxe. The TJM one doesnt need you to cut the Bumper (I think), is there much difference between the two brands really?

ARB bars are built in Kilsyth or Thialand, and I beleive there is up to an 8 week wait for one.

TJM bars are made in Virginia factory (I think) just north of Brisbane.

I have the ARB bar. Yes, you have to cut the bumper as the TJM bar sits just front of the bar. No cutting required.

I got the ARB bar becuase I reckon it looks better, thats all.

Thanks guys, I havent seen many pics of the TJM outback bar on the PX ranger so its hard to judge it. Are they close price wise?

I have a BT50. I've priced the TJM T15 at $1460 fitted, T13 $2100 fitted and ARB $1950 fitted. Just as a guide. In the case of the BT50 the T15 they cut the front bar, the T13 is manufactured to follow the contours of the plastic bar and the ARB they cut the bar. Hope this gives some idea.

This is in black, I don't want colour coded.
