Chasing a diff lock actuator for a sahara and have rung what feels like every wrecker in australia!
Does anyone have a go to wrecker for 80 parts?
Cheers

Most wreckers are on one (or more) of the 'hotline' spares links, so generally once you've rung a couple EVERYONE knows what you are looking for & if there was one available anywhere, you'd have heard about it already!! :(

So I'd guess that unless you find some obscure/back yard wrecker somewhere who ISN'T on the Spares Hotline, you will probably hafta think larger (like maybe asking for the whole diff...) or going new.... altho if you do, you might need to make sure you already have an unborn child on the way!?!?

i was chasing a diff lock actuator about 1 year ago. no luck on second hand. new i think from memory they were $1600. but the thing was according to toyota they have never ever sold one in aus. so hence it would have to come from japan. i got head scratching and thought if they have never sold one i should be looking at other options. like just taking it off, cleaning it and putting it back on. worked ok since. if its beyond cleaning the gearbox guys at the time told me they spruce em up a little to get more life.

If it's not a part that was on vehicles sold here, you might get better luck (though steeper prices) through those US specialist Landcruiser restoration places. Most Tojos sold without factory lockers, so they will be scare to begin with. Does it need to be factory? Maybe you can get something fabbed up?

If you know the part number, check out Amayama.
