The 80 Series is a very good platform to build on and if you have the time you can build a vehicle that suits your personal travel requirements.

Hey Chadro313,
Only bought my 80 a few months ago and have done a bit to it. Always wanted an 80 and have had some radical 45's in the past.
The 80 is a 97 model with a 50mm body lift, 3inchh suspension lift, 35x12.5 Baja Claws, 16x10 black steel rims, 304EFI V8 on gas /petrol, manual.
The suspension and motor with the gas conversion already in place when I got it.i took the rear bumper off and am in the process shortly of making a custom rear bar with spare wheel carrier. I will get some photos soon and post em.
