Hey Boys & Gals, BUDDY HELL is my 80series:
My beast is a 92 GXL 4L arh yes i know what your thinking BUT Interior wise its running a 10speakers, 2 amps, 10inch sub with 2 DVD players sheep skin 8seater, Nice carpet which attracts the dirt very easily. Outside im running: 5inch tough dog lift, ajustable tough dog shocks, 30mm spacers all round, 35x12.5x15 Muddies on 15inch deep dish American Racing Rims, i have a custom mainfold and custom extractors, 3inch mandrel bent sports system with high flow metal cats, mild cam, hyclone filters x 2, KN airfilter, Snorkle, truck mud flares to keep the cops away from the extra wide tires (keeps them hidden) with the motor im pushing clear 220kw at the rear wheels its very very thirsty, But heaps of torque and power to pull spray and claw its way through most rocks hills and tracks.
I have 50cm clearence under both diffs, alterzza lights all round (clear) and upgraded headlights 90-120w very bright on all occasions.Image

chadro313 wrote:thats sweet i just sold my stocky 1 hz and replaced it with a 92 gxl factory turbo just ordered a 3 inch lift and got a 3 inch pipe kit coming from scotts rods. cant wait to see the output my goal is to have an off road tourer that makes a 10 sec quater mile..... yes i know it sounds stupid but its what i want and yes it is possible check out you tube
you sure it wasent a petrol turbo engine. It would be extremly hard to get 10seconds out of a td landcruiser let alone keep it reliable enough for touring.
