Well having a 1HZ with extractors in my garage i can tell you right now that it certainly wont beat the 3.0L. :)

Owning a 1HDT myself also i still dont think that would beat the 3.0L either totally stock.

Gl with your engine conversion.

well despite your lack of enthusiasium towards the 1 hz and 1hdt i know for a fact that it can i have been in the driving seat with a 3L nissan in my rear view dissapearing in the dust..... so i suggest you go stir up some trouble at a nissan dealer and get one of them to drag you off

i guess it may come down to how hard you want to flog your car. No real need to be able to beat a car off the line is there? Unless your doing some pretty hard tracks most 4wds will do the job.

Most of us 80 series owners dont need to show off.
The nissans are as capable as a toyota.
Just depends how much money you have to improve what you got.
Im happy with my 80 but I dont need to blow anyone off in a drag to prove that.
I let mine speak for itself on the tracks and likewise. :truck: :waycool:.

Good luck getting that out of the 4.2 diesel!!!! My LS1 would be a long, long, long way off 10 secs and your going to try and do that with a little 4.2 diesel in a lifted touring setup cruiser? I'd like to see the build!!!! :)

My Tow car for the race car :D

So far thrown in twin batteries, 3" lift, Elec brake controller, fixed the windows (keep coming out of the tracks), serviced and replaced all the brakes pads and disc's and put in new tie rods ends.
