Semper what did u do for engine mounts any chance I could get u to take a photo, sussing them out atm.
Thanks for the input on gearing I might see what I can do to reduce 5th gear revs while the gearbox is out might save some coin on fuel.

Here's some photos that will hopefully be of some use to you.

I bought the engine mounts from Marks Adaptors, but the chassis mounts were made up as you can see.

The radiator fan cowl is no longer there after we swapped to the electric fans.

The photos also show the fuel pumps and surge tank also sourced from Marks.

Thanks Semper my mounts look pretty similar so looks like I on the right track. Did you run a new rubber high pressure fuel line? Talked to the fellas pulling my gearbox down looks pretty good do far so shouldn't be much more than a bearing kit.
Also pulled a muscle in my back do unfortunately won't be able to achieve much this weekend.
Thanks again for the pics looking sweet

Hey guys just a update.
Got the gearbox back today should be like a new one now. Going to install that and the engine this weekend.
Pulled the dash apart and currently customizing a new tacho to fit in the standard instrument cluster.
Installed a new speedo cable as the old was making some terrible vibration noises up behind the dash.
Ah. Drilled a dirty big hole through the firewall so I can mount my ecu inside the cab away from any water.
So yeah that's what my nights have been up too.
Bloody keen to get this thing going and hit some tracks

How much did the conversion set you back in total if you dont mind me asking? and what's your fuel economy like post conversion?

Craz3d my fuel consumption before was pretty ordinary above 20l per 100km unloaded.
Cost wise is a little scary but hopefully it will be worth it, by the time it's on the road all engineered custom exhaust ect, upgrading to slotted brake rotors too and had the gearbox overhauled I would be around 15gs. Ahhh.
Just not thinking about that. Ha ha

Sure, I'll take some tomorrow and see if I can upload them.

It's only a few more days before 8 of us from our 4WD club are heading to Alice Springs for 2 weeks camping, can't wait. It should be warmer than here in NZ!!
