thanks guys its a 1980 hj45.
i bought it as a unfinished project and most of the hard stuff was done. although i dont think id do it again as some of the work was done a bit dodgey which i had to fix up myself. its just got a 2 inch body lift with 33's, 350 chev, nice short tray which i think suits it to a tee. interior is pretty standard bar the bucket seats. the front end was on it when i bought it. however it was purchased from queensland cruisers. shortly im going to do a suspension lift and 35's. the guy put h/d springs in it and it is so rough so its first on the ever growing list of things to do.
here is a bit better pic of the tray.

Is the front end a 1 piece fiberglass setup that tilts from near the windscreen forward? Very nice looking rig.

Eureka also do some wider front guards made out of fibreglass. These just replace the original ones rather than the full tilt front one.

"If you’re disillusioned because of the major, ungainly, in addition to fantastic Terrain Cruisers which Toyota produces that Oughout. Azines. market right now, you might like to review a special Toyota FJ45 Team Pickup’s cab demonstrated over.

That Toyota Banderante team pickup’s cab appeared to be among 4 built for any Brazilian navy. Any California-based organization referred to as Tattoo chose on the list of Particular Project FJ45 Team Cabs within 2000, which is right now featuring the idea for sale. By using 6400 mile after mile, that pickup carries a 5. 3-liter fuel-injected V-8 website from General Generators and a four-speed intelligent transmission by using a good FJ60 part-time 4×4 transfer circumstance.

Inspite of that truck’s exclusivity in addition to background, the retail price may shock you: $135, 000. To get more details to the pickup in addition to several photos, look at Icon’s web page in this article."

That is a very nice cruiser you have, very nice indeed.
I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

damn that icon has some impressive options. D/l the PDF brochure. Sweet bit of kit. Nothing stopping us making some of those mods to a "real" 40 though.. 153k ouch.

could some one please tell me which way the front springs go?

according to the mechanic, we put them round the wrong way.
but when i was pulling them out, a mate came around and said they were the right way.

help.

Military wrapped end (end with the extra spring going around the eye) goes at the fixed pin end.
