HJ47R alt wiring q - need diag of int/l reg alt & connection

Helping a mate with alt overcharging issue on his 47, its had a internally regulated 80amp alt fitted by the previous owner, which at idle is charging 13.9v, when rpm is raised the voltage slowly rises to 15.5v, which is too high.
B+ wire(white/blue) has been disconnected and a new 8mm wire run from B+ on new alt to the batt pos terminal, the regulator(which appears to be brand new)is not connected entirely, a single wire has been connected to the green plug on new alt from the original harness, it appears to be a ground wire, and it appears to be "full-fielding" the alt.
What i'm after(and i'm sure someone here has fitted these new type alternators to 47)is diagram of the new internally reg alt and wiring configuration to the old harness, or just explain how you wired it. TIA
