Yeah, i brought a full set of these and same deal they are really and i mean REALLY F*%@ing thin, took me a few days to glass them up to strength and wasn't being careful enough so one front side is twisted... not happy. however i really do like the end result they do look good and are easily covering a set of 35x12.5 Trepadors so yeah not happy with the cost or quality but do like the looks... your call.

Where do you move the latches to?

The 70 series lights go where the original latches go, so you need to move them back about 50mm or something to clear the new lights.

Thanks for that, I shall get the painter to move them for me,
Um the cars on the page behinde don't even have bonnet latches?
And do you have to keep the side indicator, the one that sits back behind the bonnet latches?

I would say they would look good if they were painted the same colour as the vehicle,
If you kept them black you would need to carry a club around with you to use on the people who give you the "nice jeep" comment

These ones dont have latches because they have installed kits that work like a modern car, you have a lever inside the cab to pop the bonnet.

With the indicators, if you fit the 70 series ones, thats all you need, as its still visible from the side when its flashing.

Hey Chaps,
Any ideas where I can get one of those kits from. I tried to mate a latch and Cable from a 60 series but got too hard. I am thinking a selenoid and lever somehow, but lost interest atm. A nice and easy kit is appealing.

I have 75series indicators on my rig. Bit fiddley to install but worked out ok.

Cheers Greg

i reckon the flares would look s@#t hot in steel welded in and blended as part of the guards

I went with the rubber type and Im glad i did. Cant scratch them and you can knock up against a tree or something and you have a couple of inches 'room' before you start bending panels. You feed a bit of wire into the edge and they hold their shape well

Looks good on the right truck and is piss easy to clean mud off.

Theses are the 2 profiles I got. Left is the front and right is the back.
