I'm looking to replace the shocks on my truck, I have been running ProComp shocks for the past 12months, but the bushes have worn completely so I won't be buying those again!! Has anyone got anything to add about the Ironman Foamcell shocks?? HurricaneNT - did you find other shocks for the front after the fitting issue??

Have been running Ironman Foam Cell with Ironman HD Torsion Bars and leaf packs for the last 8 months. In that time have gone off road nearly every weekend and snuck in a 2 week trip to Cape York. Everything seems t be going fine and was able to get all this supplied and fitted for under $1,700 (Fast Fit Exhaust in Townsville in case you were wondering). Would get this same kit again without thinking twice about it.

Does anyone know if the Monroe GT Gas are any good? They are cheap, $160 per set on eBay.
I don't want to spend a lot, the only off-road stuff I do is in a paddock and some dirt tracks.
Also looking at the Tough Dog torsion bars from the same seller for $225.

Two years later and I finally installed some Monroe GT shocks and the Tough Dog torsion bars.
Needed a press to remove the old torsion bars.
The Tough Dog bars make a significant difference. With the same ride height there is much more suspension available than with the factory fitted ones.
Ride is much smoother now.
