i have 2011 bt50, after about 20000kms squeeling from front drivers wheel, started only in cornering and then progressed to constant. took it to mazda and they said its a common problem where there isnt enough grease in the wheel bearing from the factory. fixed under waranty no worrys.

Also, would anyone be familiar with what years the different models ran for ie: PJ Ranger - 07 to 09?

Great idea mate.

I have a 12/09 BT and its the updated version. Like the PK, i think from what i have read the updated model was start of 2009??? Not positive but, alot of the parts places have parts listed as 2006-2008 and then 2009-2011 so maybe its right.

Cheers bozo.

Yeah, dunno what Mazda call their different BT-50 models but I have added the production years for reference anyways.

Couldn't tell you mate, I have a PJ with an aftermarket Autron Auscruise fitted. Maybe give your local dealer a call and ask.

Yep, sounds like it would be a typical Ford reply:

Customer - "Yeah hi, just enquiring about what's going on with the PK cruise control fix?"

Ford Dealer - "Sorry sir, haven't heard anything about that but maybe you'd be interested in purchasing one of the new Rangers; they come with cruise standard"

:D

Brilliant this is what turned out to be wrong with mine took Mazda 4 days to find the problem

Anyone noticed or had any issues with oil leaks?

I have just ticked over 35000klm and noticed that there has/is a slight leak at the rear of the head/block gasket that has run down the back of the engine over the gear box. doesnt look terrible at the moment. But cant be a good thing on an 18mth old car right?

This is something that should be covered by warranty right?

By the way cruise control is now back online... FORD RELEASED THE KITS FRIDAY 29/6/12 according to my dealer anyway.

Cheers
