Tried a Wolf Engine Management System??

Unread post by Basada » September 8th, 2014, 7:47 pm

Anybody tried one on a 80 series petrol 4.5. it looks like it is a complete module. I have been quoted a price of $2000 for the kit and $1000 for the tune. Do these prices sound a bit high and is the system any good? :irked:

Hey mate, I have played with one in trade school.
They're a good system if you know how to tune it right. It's been a couple of years since but I remember it being frustratingly hard to talk to (computer program was rubbish) as for the prices they sound a bit high to me. The wolf stuff is pretty top end so unless your planning on some serious power I would just stick with the masses.
80 series! 2" ironman profoam lift, 33" maxxis 980. Dual batts, solar, inverter, rear bar with dual swing aways, roof rack. Humble beginnings.
