wHIteLUX try Turbo Engineering, Thomastown. They did a good job of my fuel pump upgrade, and dyno tune.

Adding a recommendation for Highway Diesel Service in Coopers Plains, Brisbane.

The details are:
26 Annie Street, Coopers Plains QLD
Phone: 07 32775244
Web: Highway Diesel Service

I had my injectors done there today and found them to be excellent, honest people. The car is running beautifully too! :thumb:

SCS 4X4 (Southern Cruiser Services) are in Boundary Rd, Braeside, not far south of the White St intersection. Jeff is the guy there, and the phone no. is 03 9587 3088. I'm happy with their work.

Diesel mechanic newcastle\maitand area

Unread post by 4x4 ewok » May 25th, 2010, 12:31 pm

Hey guys I am after a diesel mechanic in the newcastle\maitland area to reco a ct20 turbo and head off a hilux 3L.
I am in Raymond Terrace but don't mind a bit of a travel for a good mechanic and reasonable prices.
Speaking with prices does anyone who has had this work done have an approximate of what this will cost.

Great Diesel Mechanic in SE Qld Lee Cobby, Cobby Diesel - an almost extinct species
I've just had an excellent outcome on engine transplant I was told was not worth trying. We have a Toyota Sunliner (Hiace) Camoervan which had everything we wanted, but for its petrol/gas engine; a cause of great frustration due to shortage of gas in the bush and tuning problems.
We wanted to switch to diesel 2.8L turbo
Lee encountered challenges 'fitting it in', but never compromised. Treated the job as if he were doing it for himself. The diesel he installed he had re-built. The power and economy is superb. Only one problem - engine overheating under load, but has now been solved.
Phil 0418-780715 (I couldn't recommend him highly enough)

I went to Highway Diesel today in coopers plains brisbane. I had to get a small part to fix a little leak in the fuel pump of my 80. The people are great, and i got some great service from very knoweledgable people at a great price. Owen
