NS Pajero turbo diesel particulate filter?????

Hey guys,

my parents have bought a new turbo diesel vrx automatic pajero.
and my parents tow a 2300kg caravan and would like more power.
but for some reason no one makes a snorkle for the automatic model and we haven't found any company that does a preformance chip for them.
can we put in a bigger more free flowing exhaust?
what would happen if we removed the diesel particulate filter?
would a diesel/gas conversion effect the diesel particulate filter?
any idea's or help would be good guys,

Pajeroclub forum. You will find a largish thread on the DPF issues and the fix now available. They did discuss the possibility of removing the DPF but no-one has tried it yet.
